I will eventually be installing tti headers on my car. I was looking over their website and the notes for the headers I'll be getting. One note states that some modifications to the adjustable swivel and lower rod will be needed. Also that the support bracket will need to be cut and welded to make it shorter. Anyway, I'd like to try and find extra support brackets in case I make a mistake with my cutting and welding. Does anyone have this bracket for sale? Here is the link to the diagram: http://ttiexhaust.com/PDF/Sheet3703-TSlever.pdf

are you talking the cross member piece that bolts to the frame with 4 bolts and has the mount in the middle?

Bryan (I have a couple here if that is what you need)

Yeah, I don't have a floor shifter so I didn't have to do either modification. By the drawings, it looks like you simply cut the support bracket in the middle then lap it over itself and weld it back to gether. I 'm sure the instructions are going to tell you to remove the bracket, install the header, cut the bracket, then mock it back up to see how much clearance you will need to clear the header. Mark the overlap, pull everything back out, tack-weld it, test fit (undo and re-try if necessary). Once happy with position, pull it out & weld it up. Grind to perfection if needed and install permanently. It's that easy.

No it's not the crossmember piece.

"It's that easy." Which is exactly why I want an extra bracket (or two)!

Before ya go cutting and welding, put the headers on and see if ya really need to make the modification. I say this cause my dads 440 with tti headers did not need the mod your referring to, as there was plenty of room.
