I need a lower control arm (driverside) for my 69 belvedere. Ball joint has a ton of play in it.

Thanks,

Dan

um.......the lower ball joints BOLT ON....40 buxx at NAPA. this is the 2nd thread stating lower ball joints screw in....AM I MISSING SOMETHING ?

Lol i noticed the other thread but didnt want to jump his. I guess i stated it wrong, but the socket where the in the lower control arm is totally wasted and enlarged. The ball joint just floats in the socket... it's so bad i'm pretty sure it's dangerous. I was hoping they were still available from a local parts store, thanks for the tip. Thanks, i'll fix the post up above.

Control Arm

We have good used lower control arm's, most from the western
state's, but would probably need the bushing's changed out. We don't have any, with the sway bar tab's right now. If this is what your looking for,
just send us a PM here on the site.

Ok, i'm embarrassed now. I called it the lower control arm but what I "really" need is the steering knuckle arm. I know, i'm a jackass. Sorry for the confusion.

drag link you mean ??????...NOW WE ARE ALL CONFUZZZZZZZZZLED !

Heres a pic i grabbed from another recent post. Steering linkages attach to these w ball joint and these parts are bolted to the spindles. I know u know that, just trying to describe it best i can. The pic shows 2 different lengths, but mine are obviously both the same length.

Do you mean that the left wheel one, and the right wheel one are the same length? I am not sure, but you need the one for passenger side? What is the exact name for this part? Is that the steering knuckle? A parts store can pull up a schematic, and tell you the part name. Might try a salvage yard. Good luck!

those are called ball joints( pic dont have the actual joint in it)..like i said before....go to NAPA and youll get the WHOLE THING FOR 40 BUXX A SIDE!....THATS 80 TOTAL DINEROS...MULAH....JING..... and just bolt it on ! you get the point!
