Looking to buy 1950s-70s vintage BALKAMP branded hose clamps without a hex head, screwdriver slot only.

Need .5 to 2.5" sizes, but mostly 1.75 (need 8) some smaller, a few larger.

The numbers are patent numbers, not part numbers...

Please check those old "clamp buckets" in the garage! Thanks.

What are they worth??

Absolutely nothing to anyone but me!!! That being said, I think a buck each used and 3 each for near new. Perhaps 5 each for NOS.
I need eight of the 1 3/4 size and some smaller ones at a minimum. Let me know what you have and the condition please.

Do they have to be Balkamp? I have a dozen used ones, but only 1 is Balkamp. The rest are Ideal & Breeze, but they have the same head as shown in the picture. Here's what I have....
2 - 3/4", 3- 1", 1 - 1 1/4", 1 - 1 1/2", 2 - 1 3/4", and 3 - 2".

Histoy - I just sent you a PM.

I've got one Breeze Corp. clamp that fits the bill. It's around a 2". Let me know if you want it. Came off a '54 F250 if it matters

LOl... Does the Breeze clamp have that 'nub' on the end? My 1970 vintage pics show that the "hexless" clamps had 'nubs'...
Is there a proper term for that formation on the end of the screw??

No "nub" like the Balkamp ones. Still a nice clamp though. Let me know if you'd like it in an envelope.

'67Satellite - PM sent.

About those 'nubs'... I'd like to add that on the vintage photos of my car, I can see 'em. I can't speak for any others, of course!!

I know there were hexless clamps of slightly different styles out there... Differences in the barrel attachment to the band, too.

One of the cool ones is the Aero Seal "JET". It had a quick locking feature and is aircraft quality and vibration resistant.
I have a few of those on my car, also.

Histoy - rec'd the pile of clamps - Thanks.

I can use the other ones marked "Hy Gear" by IDEAL, since they generically look like the Balkamp. (no hex and nub on the end.)

Again - thanks for your generosity.

You're welcome. I hope that you can find the others you need.

BTW... I sent you an email on a link to Mopar distributors on eBay. I thought that one looked similar to what you're hoping to find.

I'll look him up.
I also found out that there are other brand names on the clamps that look the same.
As long ar there is no hex and the nub on the end, they are usable to me.
Check this out...

'67Satellite, got the clamp. Thanks!

Still need some around 2" (max size) that look like my original posting. Thanks...

Still could use 4 to fit 1 3/4" hose... Need nub on the end, NOT be Aero Seal brand and, of course, no hex.

Doing some research, I could use brands like: Murray Gold Seal, Ideal, Hy Gear, Balkamp, GoodYear, Gates... Thanks.
