1967 GTX #7 spark plug wire routing.

I am getting conflicting information about the routing of the #7 wire. Original valve covers have places to put the wire over the valve cover and around the back of the exhaust and under the exhaust to the plug.

I am being told that is not correct and all 4 wires go around the front of the motor then under the exhaust manifold. Can anyone help with documentation on the routing of #7 wire?

This is correct for B bodies. Only A and C bodies go over the valve cover and come around back

My drivers side chrome cover has no provisions for plug wires... I have seen these both ways though... Maybe some have A or C body drivers covers?

Looking at the Wife's 383x 67 Formula S this afternoon, A bodies have two tabs to run the #7 across the top and to the back. B bodies do NOT.
