Universal joints.....

....so.....thinking this going to be a tad more simple than it's turned out to be.....but are the universal joints for a 67 Coronet 8/34 a crap shoot? I pressed out the rear one, and scored a NOS TRW 20059 unit.....but is seems a bit larger than the one that came out. Is this a front unit? Needless to say......I may need an opinion on what I should press back in there....

If it's a large u-joint (3.625") should be a 1330 cup diameter 1.0625".

If you have the 7290 joint and caps, you can replace the 7290 cap with the 1330 cap.

Bearing Cap Diameter Axis 1 (in) 1.078
Length Between Inside Snap Rings Axis 2 (in) 2.125

7260 (Dodge) 2.125 1.078 All 4 caps

I'm not reading 50 mm on that caliper. It is approximately 54 which is 2 1/8"

I can take the joints and stack them. The old one is slightly smaller....I even put the clips in the new u joint and placed it over the yolk and it does not line up by the same distance.....ug
