A friend and I went to the March Meets yesterday. Great weather and awesome turnout. Here are some nice, real cars I saw.

thanks for sharing

That's always a cool race
I miss going to it

a bunch of NHRA big hitters used to attend & do tuning or test runs
it's going on during 'the Gators' now, not sure why they scheduled it that way
a week later between Gators & Chandler Az/Firebird would be ideal
& get a huge draw, lots of ladies too :bananadance:

I love the FE dragsters & vintage F/Cs too haulin' a--, AA/fuel altereds
all the old classes, Heritage NHRA stuff, S/S, Pro-Gas or A/Gas b-c :blah:,
or Altered's & door-slammers galore etc.

Just yesterday, my wife and I were leaving the grocery store and saw a Swinger in front of a local garage.
I could only see the back end initially so I guessed it to be a '71-'73.
So we drove up and I got out to have a closer look.
I noticed the Swinger emblem under the rear quarter glass on both sides. I recall reading somewhere that was unique to '70 only.
But the rear lights weren't consistent with the conclusion of it being a '70. It had (4) lenses instead of (2).
So I looked at the VIN on the dash and confirmed it was indeed a '70.
The rear bumper must've gotten swapped at some point.
Are my observations correct here?
I sure do like these cars, but I'm not quite as schooled on them as some of the others.
I'll post pictures I took of that car yesterday if you'd like to see them.
**Be warned, it's a far cry from it's glory days to say the least.**
