Pics from Back in the Day

I've been guilty of the same thing; mis-matched front and back wheels. :)

More from that time in my life..lol
The purple 71 was a 6cyl 3spd. I put a 440+6 and 4spd. Had a b body Dana to put under it. Divorce killed it. Thing is, wife loved all the cars, so it wasn't that..lol

Time slips from Lions Drag Strip (Oct 31, 1971) and Orange County. Both tracks are long gone.

102 mph and 100mph. Seems traction limited.

And any ET's??

I never pulled the slips out before. More cool stuff found...

There are much better runs in here. 10 runs in all on 10/31/1971 (Halloween)

All it had 3.91's and headers and the Nobu's dyno tune with original carbs' air door weights are lightened up. Headers and 3.91's gears in original drop out were only a short time deal.

13.37 @ 105.63

13.45@ 106.13

Lions drag strip was at sea level, only 5 miles from port of LA.
