well I got my new trans mount installed and against a lot of opinions from some of my mechanical friends the replacement has cured all my issues.Feels like a new 58 year old car!
The vibration was even noticeable at a certain RPM in neutral which means it was resonating thought the crossmember...
I also have a similar bad vibes........ 40 mph + on light acceleration I feel shuddering under drivers floor and felt in the steering wheel.
My U-joints are good and my transmission tail shaft is fine.
If I put the car in neutral at 50 mph it coasts smoothly with no vibration at all.2 days ago...

I am chasing down a vibration/resonation in my 66 Coronet (stock engine) and I am going to change out the spark plugs in case it is a misfire.
Anyone have recommendations on the best spark plugs application for this old girl ?
