Ok yeah I’m 99% sure I have it the correct way. I also have marks on the original glass from the trim. I think I’ll have to resort to adjusting the butyl tape thickness and adjust the two clips that are not sticking out enough. Shouldnt be able fo tell once it’s all together.
I only have the original glass that came with the car. I did pull the window out and reinstalled it without the butyl. Set it in there to see if I had thicker sections along the tape. But the measurements are consistent. What would the second way to install it be?
I did read this one. Did you notice a gap in the window and butyl tape? And when you say you sealed it up with the other adhesive how so? Just over the top ? So that it fills those gaps?.
What I’m worried about here is that the AMD quarters it has have a dip in them along the inner sail panels...

Looks like we overlooked this hood latch mount. Amd didn’t provide mounting holes here for the guide. Can anyone tell me a measurement of how far back this gets mounted? And the type of fasteners? I would think to just place it where it get the most action but better to ask then regret. Also...
