Any one ever mount one of these radio's in their RoadRunner? Its a piece of crap but I guess it plays OK, good enough for me. I have it all wired up but I can't figure out how to mount it. If I use two bolts like the original nothing lines up to the front dash bezel. It all can't be held up by the back bracket, it wouldn't be steady. I only bought the thing because I couldn't find anything else and I wanted some tunes. Thanks!

How about some pics of the front?

Here you go, it fits the face plate fine but there is a problem with the depth. I put it in using two bolts on the front and the face plate doesn't fit flush, way off.

I settled for a Pioneer. Bought from wall mart. AM FM plus disc player. Bought a new radio bezel and was able to cut that to fit just fine. I am not purest when it came to the radio. It fit the original hole like a glove. Wish you luck on the install.

Thanks, I'm leaning in that direction.

Hate to alter the rear support bracket
I was maybe thinking of some kind of spacer between the radio and the backside of the front where the bolts go. The radio fits good if I could get it back a little and support it.

Did you ever come up with a solution? I’m running into this issue myself

It's a PITA. I went to the hardware store and got 4-6 1/8" thick plastic washers, then cut a side on each a bit to make a "D" shape for the angle brackets. Had to drill those. Hard to get the factory faceplate to line up. I custom made a rear bracket for the back to help with the weight. Effin tinkertoy.

Yes, exactly.
