Sucks to be that guy !!!
The line drawn on the tape is where the dip should be.
Who do I blame ... the sheet metal guy, the body and paint guy or myself ?
If you've ever wondered why you come across cars with these corners screwed down ... !
The dutch has nothing to do with those corners !! Left as is two things will happen (or not happen) ... 1) the side trim will be too long at the bottom - not a big deal it can be trimmed a tad BUT 2) the bottom trim won't fit at all - because the corner is about 1/2" too high - what I was...
I will say this though ... if I were doing it again I wouldn't go with the full .055 over bore, I'd stick with the .030 over. And I'd probably go with a shorter stroke so as not to have to use an external pickup. Live and learn !!!
I used their 528 pre-balanced kit. Absolutely ZERO issues. I've used a bunch of their other stuff with no issues also. Find another machine shop 'cause if you do convince these guys to use the kit they'll probably **** something up just to say "we told you so" !!!
I don't use the door handle to close the door. I give the door a push and let its weight do the rest. Likewise to open the door I push the button and the door mechanism pops it out and the handle only serves to move the door on well-adjusted and lubed hinges.
