It's a free country. But I wouldn't risk it. Comp has had terrible issues with metallurgy for a while now. There have been lots of camshaft and lifter failures with brand new Comp products. I had one myself. First time ever and I've been building engines and working on them for a little more...
I've done it and seen it done a lot on the dirt track circuit where hydraulic lifter rules are in place. We never had issues. I don't know how they would do in a low rpm street car.
Looking for a tail panel and tail lights for a 1970 Coronet R/T or 1970 Coronet 500 for a friend. Please reply with PM either here or on FABO. Thank you and moochas grassy ***.
Something caught my eye when I went to put this intake away. It has a repair in one of the ports. I cannot imagine what happened there. It's barely visible from the outside and it is a very professional weld. The engine was running fine. Here are a couple of pictures.
I'll donate this intake mannyfold. It's an Edelbrock Performer 2101 for the generation 1 small block Chevy. Non EGR with hot air choke provision. My good friend said to donate this as we went with a Holley Street Dominator which more matches his build. No stripped threads. It's a nice intake...
Looking for casting number 2892513 big block bellhousing. Just tossing it out there. I don't have a ton of cash to spend, but what do you have? Thanks, yall.

Yeah, you can cruise the Fall Line Freeway now I believe. I think it's finished all the way now. I am not certain. That cuts across from Columbus to Macon to Augusta and then of course, you're right on top of Aiken. I have family in Aiken and Clemson as well.
