I've done it and seen it done a lot on the dirt track circuit where hydraulic lifter rules are in place. We never had issues. I don't know how they would do in a low rpm street car.

Something caught my eye when I went to put this intake away. It has a repair in one of the ports. I cannot imagine what happened there. It's barely visible from the outside and it is a very professional weld. The engine was running fine. Here are a couple of pictures.

Yeah, you can cruise the Fall Line Freeway now I believe. I think it's finished all the way now. I am not certain. That cuts across from Columbus to Macon to Augusta and then of course, you're right on top of Aiken. I have family in Aiken and Clemson as well.
