I am running a Holley intake and am trying to adapt my stock 5.7 TB to it. Initially I used a Holley LS TB to 4150 adapter and just drilled some holes to mount the TB but now I want try and get the TB lower (the Holley adapter is thick on the back to facilitate some vacuum ports which I don't need).

Before I went through the effort of trying to make an adapter I thought I would ask around. OCP Performance used to make them but it seems that they have folded.

Well I guess I got my answer.. LOL Almost the same answer as the LS TB on a G3 Hemi... :(

there's a guy on FB that has his own intake and adapters for sale . his work and life schedule got really busy and he's going to stop making them . his name is Joe O'Cone lll . he may still have a few left .

Unfortunately I am not on FB, however I will look into it. I am in the process of making my own adapter at the moment and should have it done today. They are not complicated but the motor for the throttle blade does hang down and present some issues. I am trying to get the TB as low as possible which is what brought me here.

This is his EFI with OE throttle body with both adapters

That looks good and basically exactly what I am making (as far as the 4150 adapter). I can see it says OCP Performance, I emailed them a number of times and tried to call as well without success. I think he has already closed up shop.
he may have closed the "shop" part down but i talk to him occasionally through messanger

he said they were $275 + shipping
Thank you for doing that but I think they were like $100 on his website before that went down. Its definitely more that I want to pay given the relatively simple nature of the product. I just finished making one myself.

I really like the sheet metal elbow style for using modern tb on carb intake. That's how my fury is. Better flow into the intake and better hood fitment. Mine is turbocharged so a regular drop base air cleaner doesn't work of course

In my case I am using a factory oval AC and trying to get the air grabber to be functional. So this required me to get the TB mounted straight up like a carb would be. I did this by getting a Holley intake, however they do not offer an adapter to mount the TB to a 4150 style intake.

What Holley does offer is an adapter for a LS TB to be mounted to a 4150 intake so I got one of those and then drilled it for the G3 Hemi TB. The problem here is the thickness which is right at 1". With the AC mounted it was hitting the AG door.

OCP Performance did/does offer these adapters for a G3 Hemi but as noted they are a bit expensive for what you get (its a pretty simple plate), plus I think that they are probably about the same thickness as the Holley plate.

I elected to make my own out of a piece of 1/2" thick 6061 aluminum. I actually tried 3/3 first but it was just too thin. The problem is the motor on the TB, it hangs down on the one side and covers up one of the 4150 adapter mounting bolts.

What I will be doing is using a tapered hex head 5/16 bolt to allow me to counter sink the plate which allows me to retain the surface contact area of the bolt. I am pretty confident that this will seal up ok.
