Finally done. The interior is finished. The exterior is finished. I had the front glass installed today. I promptly went out and got her tags and registration. She fired right up with no isssues. Then it started to rain. Oh well I think I’ll have 3 beers in celebration

Looks great. I know white interiors are a pain but just can't beat the look with the red paint.

Ready for summer. Great job

That's one sweet ride! Are you ready to sell?

I kid, I kid. But how about that trebuchet behind it? I have way too many bowling balls/pumpkins/neighbor kids.

Hah! You picked up on the trebuchet. I have won 3 trophies with that. That thing is a hoot.
The story behind that is our church has a fall fest and that is one of the competitions. So the first year it was a machinist and a carpenter and me with my first trebuchet. It wasn't very big or sturdy but I beat them. The next year it was me against the carpenter, I smoked him again. Last year it was me against a builder and the carpenter. The builder gave up and I waxed the carpenter again.
Someone asked me " what do you do?" I told them I am a mechanic. They laughed and said so you understand how things work that's why you win
I think this coming year I am making a bigger arm adding more weight to about 750lbs total. Should throw it about 750 ft

Beautiful, color and wheel combo! I wish my 66 was going to end up looking something like that. But, it's strictly a 1/4 mile car so way too many things missing. It's nice to see what the rear quarter will look like with the (gills/fins whatever they're called) installed.
