I'd like to have my date code correct Carter carburetor restored. Who's the go to guy for a quality restoration?

Woodruff restorations does a nice job of restorations. They are listed in our vendors forums. The only caveat is I would check what jets and rods he puts back in the carb. The carb for my 67 GTX was beautiful when returned but had the craziest collection of jets and rods inside it. I have no idea what the story behind that was other than he couldn’t come up with the correct 3-step rods and tall primary jets maybe. Once I changed those out back to stock it looks great and runs perfect.

I know people who've used Harms. Anybody with experience with Woodruff ? Are they just rebuilders, or concours restorers ?

He does both. He Concours restored a pair of hemi carbs, and a few thermoquads for me. Beautiful work, and reasonable.

I used Woodruff for a restoration on an AVS. Carb looked great, but float level and drop were way off.

I used Woodruff because my primary throttle shaft needed to be re-bushed on a Carter 4bbl. He did an amazing job in a very short period of time and the price was wayyyyy cheaper than I expected.
