inside door latch lever insulator??

Guys, 1970 RR/Sat/GTX,behind the inside remote door latch lever there is a slot for which the levers arm passes through which then connects to the pull rod that goes back to the latch, that slot in the sheet metal has a plastic 'insulator/guide" is that remade by anyone and what is it called please??

I have my door panels off on my 70 RR, I could take you some pictures but I’m not sure what area you are trying to explain. The only thing I can think of that’s plastic is a anti rattle piece on the interior side of the door. I don’t think anyone makes them yet.
 
It is an anti rattle clamp, thought I had a pic. Maybe @dadsbee can help out.

This ?? If so, its more of a rain sheild than anti rattle gizmo. Not reproduced. Have never seen one for sale at a swapmeet either. I also need one.

isn't that what the rubber squeegie on the glass is for? that white thing seems kinda useless
 
They're pretty flimsy. one of mine was broken when I took the door apart and my car had only seen 5 years of use !!!
