Why don't you just use a 66 mount? I do think the later spool mount is superior when converted to urethane though. I built a new transmission cross member in order to use the spool style.

I missed the inner plug on my 318 poly rebuild (I let the machine shop pull the galley plugs as my tool broke). It is in the rear under another plug! I was able to install the missing plug through the distributer hole in the block! Engine was in and started-low oil pressure was the result.

Hammering on the axle in place can damage the tapered roller bearing. Remove the axle and press them out. The drill may have worked to remove the tension and weakened the fit but, the holes must be centered and opened up to the root diameter of the splines of the stud.

It has disintegrated. I decided to make one though. First attempt proved I can make it work, so I'll change some dimensions tomorrow. I am using Delrin plastic and my lathe. Thanks for the response.

The air inlet throttle valve on my DA broke. Has any one found a replacement part? CP has discontinued production of this little plastic item. KF124233.

Ma Mopar put the port in the intake for a reason. It works in millions of engines. The intake location is a better choice. Plug fouling is just a coincidence and bad luck.

They made 10s of thousands of RRs. Do what you need for your comfort. In a few years our cars will not be worth squat. Keep enjoying yours as long as possible.
