Do you already have the direct drive fan and correct spacer?

Might want to check terminal condition of main engine harness at the bulkhead.

Double check the firing order going counter clockwise?

Check to make sure you're using the correct square bore base gasket and have no interference with the secondaries.

T/A is a legit car and one of the nicest I've ever seen.

Thanks for the back story on the Coronet. The nice thing about that event is it seems every year there's cars that show up that we've never seen before. Always interesting. That Duster had a unique color combo and the '61 Polara was one rare piece.

Another thing to check is to make sure your secondaries aren't hanging up and fully close at idle.

Does your return spring seem to have enough tension at idle?

Does it come out of park and you can feel the detent for each position?
