Easy fix. Intermediate shaft is probably off a couple teeth counter clockwise. With the timing mark at tdc the slot should be inline with the cam. Vac advance canister should end up pointing towards #1 cylinder to give plenty of room to adjust timing in both directions. I see this all too often...

Carter rates that pump at 5.5psi max.

Instead of regulating a pump that puts out too much pressure, why not just get a suitable inexpensive pump like a Carter M3672? Working great on my 440 for years.

There was also an SE option for the '66 Coronet. I bought a nice parts car in the 90's for $500. It was a 4dr 500 with paisley seat covers.

I'll check my spare carb parts bin later today. Those aren't common pieces.

My original 4429 didn't have an inlet screen. Never really had any issues without it.

Do you already have the direct drive fan and correct spacer?

Might want to check terminal condition of main engine harness at the bulkhead.

Double check the firing order going counter clockwise?

Check to make sure you're using the correct square bore base gasket and have no interference with the secondaries.
