I was raised never hit a women . But can see where at some point that rule may not be able to be followed. I personally have never been pushed that far, or even close to be honestI hit one woman, one time.... She attacked me, punches, clawed, spit... I tried getting in my car and leaving.. She jumped on the hood & bent both wiper arms backward... I got out of the car she got in my face. I dropped her.... Felt terrible for days, I was raised to never strike a woman & I broke the rule... Forty years later I still don't feel good about it.. I think she learned something that day, Can't push quite that far....
I know my wife well enough it would only take the one time. She knows me well enough and how I feel about it.
To be honest, in nearly 35 years together, We hardly argue let alone fight. I think I may have raised my voice twice???? I think.
