Thanks for that, I think the back bracket is slightly out as I need top push the back of the plastic console over to the passenger side about 1/2 an inch to get the screws in.
Hopefully it wont affect the fitting of the top plates.
Yea im thinking that too. Just wanted to see if someone else had the same issue. The front console mount looks like it was welded like that from factory.

Thanks Dave. my brackets are already welded in and carpet is in. I put a level on the front bracket that holds the shifter just where the console sits to screw it on and it has a lean to the passenger side yet the top where the shifter mounts is straight.

Hi there, I have replaced the vent window seals on my 69 Charger, i noticed the gap between the lower vent window seal and the door gap it sits it. Does this need a sealant to fill in the gap or just put the stainless trim on? Just worried about water going into my doors if the rubbers not tight...
Yea mines punched from the inside out. And is in the inner wheelhouse. Strange one but im determined to find out why its there. Finding the photo i got of it pre strip showing a bolt and nut in the outer wheel well make me think its retaining something on the inside there. Cheers

Hi there. Its a 1969 Dodge charger. Wheel wells are original to car and have not been replaced. The car was purchased as a rolling body fro Arizona with original paint on it. Thanks again for your help
