Any other retirees with a part time job?

I became bored also and SS doesn't pay enough (just enough with nothing left over). Working for a parts house delivering parts 25 hrs a week. Wish I was physically able to work more hrs but can barely handle the 25 hrs.

    Just weighed the Dodge.

I remember back in the '70s, living in Maryland, vehicle registration was normal like $20 a year. If you vehicle was over 3,800 lbs it was $30. I had to pay the $30 on my '64 Polara 500. I later owned a '67 Thunderbird and it had the $30 registration also.

    Distributor Swap

Are you looking for replacement points or a new distributor? @HALIFAXHOPS should have both.

Howdy and Welcome from way north of you in Pennsylvania. That should make a cool car

    Distributor Swap

Single point distributor would be fine for a basically stock engine. If you're not racing I doubt if you'd notice any difference. The original engine that was in my '62, 361 hp 4bbl only had the single point dizzy.

    I'm Charles - 63 Dodge 330 - Max Wedge

Welcome from the other side of our great nation. Great story and great car:thumbsup: I'd have to sleep with it out in the garage if I owned it! Looks like at sometime the trunion joint was converted to a slip joint u-joint. Taypered axles also.

Can I time/tune an engine by ear? Can’t seem to see any lines on the harmonic balancer when using my timing gun on both the top or underneath the car.

Hope this helps or you can buy one... Post in thread 'Finding TDC' Finding TDC As far as the carburetor tuning you want the highest vacuum using a vacuum guage or the highest rpm using a tachometer. Or both.

My Tiretreds glue on whitewall install
