Yeah, I definitely kind of agree. I’ve been messing with it. Definitely need another pair of hands. I don’t wanna pull the stickers if I don’t have to. So if I can get the other pair of hands to help me hold up the scoop, I can get it on and just drop it in the place that way This way I don’t...
ok!! Thank You all for the help. , My body and paint guy is a tool! I got the gasket and it dry fit perfectly. Shame on me for not checking on my own !!
Now the next part ,. Can the hatch be removed? with out destroying the side decals? or removing the whole under hood unit?
I didn't have a seal when I got the car 5 years ago. after repainting I thought I got all the gaskets needed. we did try it but the painter said it made the scoop sit up slightly higher than the hood. So he left it off/ I did order another from Detroit so going to see on my own
did the scoop sit sup wuth the gasket? when we tried the gasket from Detroit.. it then didn't allow the scoop to go flush with the hood. Something that will settle over time? of=r something else?

I'm assuming its the same or similar on a 70. Do you know if the package tray holds the bottom trim piece in place? i see a grove under the ribbing. does the trim go up, and then the tray slides into the notch to hold it in place?
I hand them on my 70’roadrunner. .40 over 383 thumper cam. 2.5 s.s exhaust. . I hate them!!!!! Soo quiet and restrained. Restricting on open throttle! All cause the “turbo” design in the muffler. I swapped out to flow master flow fx! New design! Staring thru not a “turbo” also run on my hemi...
I prefer the dog dish. I didn’t spray the wheel the body color though. For me I like this look better and prefer to do something Ruth’s. Every other car. I get many many compliments on the set up. Even from guys who don’t like the dish
So the capon the left is supposed to be vented and the one on the right seems to be. I have an aftermarket tank and a sniper efi system.supply and return lines and a vent line out the tank. After a drive the tank hand more pressure than ever. And still bubbloup the vent line. The cap on the...
I just finished a full repaint and reassembled the air grabber. It’s an original Mopar part and hood. Seems now the back left corner,as
Looking at the car, rubbed just enough to flake the paint.it’s gonna get repainted but does anyone know a way to align the door? Or slide it forward? The piano...
