I have an A&A repro on my 511, 10.3 to 1 comp, solid roller cam, with a pair of original 3705 750 AFB's. Once warmed up, it is no problem driving around town.
I have no problems driving this on the street, starts okay with no choke. Give it a minute or so to warm up and off you go. 511 cubes, 10.5 to 1 comp, solid roller cam, pair of original 3705S carbs, 3.91 gears. Modern ignition and converter certainly help. Don't be scared of the crossram.
All tracks in Australia are still 1/4 mile, even for Top Fuel and Nitro Funny car. While we don't have the same number of cars and competitors you guys have in the US, we still have a few guys who put a lot of effort and money in and run some world class numbers.
Does anybody have a pic or diagram of how the backup light switch mounts on the pushbutton shifter on a 63 Dodge? My car was missing the switch when I bought it. I picked up a NOS switch, but can't figure out how it mounts.
