AMEN BROTHER!!
Ron I met Tom from Fondulack , he has a white 2 door hardtop Fury and my two, that makes four in our neck of the woods that I know of!Wondered where all the '63 Plymouth's went and why I'm sort of a loner with mine in my area...YOU guys got 'em all!
They all look like they have hideaway headlights, I like!!
Some guys are super picky about their resto's; all has to be original or they consider the redo a lower class of work or not done right. Great they do that; but for me it's about modernizing while pretty much retaining the original look of the car. I put in a '65 rear/axle to drop the old tapered shafts, dual res front disks, firm-feel steering, 15' magnums, wide radials, headrests to the original seats, found an original sway bar from a police car, HD leafs, among other things in the effort to make it a nice-tight driver. It likely drives better than new; certainly a world apart than when I drove it before the redo. If ya look at it from a few feet away the only thing that looks different are the wheels and tires and the chrome tipped 3" exhaust.I can't handle those OE judges, and I can'y leave ANYTHING alone.!!!
