not any adive except when it comes to cam choice use the 800 numbers and call the cam company of your choice. Be honest about you want to do and how you drive. Most street / strip combos only see several runs down the track in their whole life.
I think I remember the old owner telling me he had put a 69 trunk lid on this 68 GTX, make sence as the tail panel is missing too. So I guess I will have to round up a trunk lid and panel, Im sure the panels are expexsive when you can find them..

People tend to get burned buying motors that " ran great when it was taken out".
I went to look at a 428 ford last year, ran great when taken out he said.. Turned out to be a 390 with an exhaust valve that hung open and a blown head gasket, scored wall and melted piston top.
