68 trunk lid interchage ?

Is the trunk lid on a 68 GTX same as the road runner?
Is 68 and 69 interchangleable between gtxs ? road runners ?

68 Plymouth, Belvedere, road runner and gtx the same. 1969 is different.

68 Plymouth B-bodies trunk lids are all interchangeable. only dif between 'em is the rear panel. not too sure about the light buckets though...:munky2:

Yes lids are the same, as are the qtr extensions, tail light lens and tail light buckets. The only thing that differs on the tail end are tail light bezels and trunk panels.

I think I remember the old owner telling me he had put a 69 trunk lid on this 68 GTX, make sence as the tail panel is missing too. So I guess I will have to round up a trunk lid and panel, Im sure the panels are expexsive when you can find them..

The one on my Nova goes for 600 to 1000 on ebay when they show up but they only made 9000 1965 Nova SS

Panels are now repoped by Metro Parts Co. for $450 and they are nice. Post a pic if you can. A 69 trunk lid wouldn't line up so it would be pretty clear if it was wrong. 68's only had the trim panel with the decor package so if it's a coupe RR without the decor option or a deck lid off a car without decor there wouldn't be a panel. Oh and by the way all hardtops had the decor package.
