I am rebuilding the rear seat belt anchor on my 73 charger, as it has rotted out.
Does anybody know what thread it takes?
I have a bolt out of a 74 which is 7/16-20.
Are they the same bolts as 73?
Is the size correct?
Thanks for your time.
Im going to look at fenders tomorrow. How do I tell the difference between the years? I know 71 had the markers different. But from one fender on the floor, how do you tell? 72-74. I heard 73-74 had a bigger wheel gap, but how much?
I have a 73 charger, 440, 9 1/4 rear end(unknown internals). Going for 550 Ish horsepower/torque. What do I need to reinforce on the frame/unibody, or do I. Was thinking of reinforcing lower control arms, And frame connectors. Anything else? Want it for driving and the occasional unleash. Thanks
Hello
I have a 727 transmission and would like to Go Manuel. How many different options do I have. Looking for something that would bolt on. I know an a833. Any others?
I’m repairing a 73 charger k frame. The mount towards the back is rotten. I’ve cut out and welded in new pieces I’ve made. My question is, can anybody tell me the measurements of where to cut the hole for the bushing. I want to make sure I get it in the right spot. Thanks in advance.
That is the cross member I’m talking about. On my 73 the torsion bars pass through the transverse and are attached to a smaller torsion bar Behind it. I had to replace the transverse crossmember. The new crossmember has the hex instead of holes for the torsion bar to pass through.
I recently ordered a new tranny crossmember. I noticed it has the torsion bar hex built in it. Must be a different year? Body? Should I just get shorter torsion bars and delete the torsion bar cross member?
This has beet talked about before, but what torsion bar spring rate have you guys gone to get a modern day stiffness? I was looking at a 1.08 bar with a spring rate of 228, too high?
