Got a '68 Roadrunner in the garage that still needs a trunk floor, a right front fender and whole bunch of sandin'. Was givin to me and I really ain't got the time to rebuild it.
Can't say from direct experience what size those grooves should be, but it makes sense to have more clearence on the top ring, 'cause they have to take more heat. I would imagine that the second ring, being shielded by the first, runs at a much reduced temperature.
Have to watch for ther US edition. Maybe, producers will find some crazed fools to do a good job here? It's for certain that the personalities make the show so good.
