Hey guys what have you done or what would you suggest ,? We are fitting my grill back in and a couple screw holes are slightly stripped ... do i dare just put some type super glue on threads and call it good ? they do grab a little ....... Im scared if I put next size bigger screw in it may...
you cant grind it smooth being it is recessed down inside the hood reinforcement brace about a inch but ya probably best I measure from my own car some how , just figured there would be room to play with the chrome piece that mounts over the hole , thanks again
I would do something like that but like I said someone plug welded the old holes shut and there is a big goober of weld on bottom side , will need to drill downwards and would like to put the holes in before paint and body work thanks Rog
Hi, could some one please give me their hood pin hole in hood measurements from side hood to center of hole and from front of hood to center of hole ?

these are not mine I found them on this site some time back but they are the same and mine are screwed on like this also clips behind or were until some one misplaced or sold them on me

Hi can anyone please share pictures of your 71 gtx or ssp showing the rocker mouldings being screwed on from the outside ....
I read once somewhere that they are from the factory fastened on with plastic clips on studs underneath and screws threw the front face or top side like 4 screws...

in my 71 ssp I used a trany a833 ,cast bellhousing and 11 inch flywheel out of a 69 RR the bellhouseing uses a different z-bar that the 10 1/2 inc used in 71 and newer b-bodys ...
mine trany only had the forward location shift mount for buddy seat bench seat cars ,, needed to is the bowtie...
