I've been trying to find information on two cars that were campaigned in my area So Cal. First was a Red 1964 Plymouth light weight Hemi car called "Red Thunder". It had a big picture of a elephant head on the door. The other car was a white 1962 Plymouth called "Forced Entry". It had a picture...
This car is a second owner, original paint and interior 1965 Dodge Coronet Sedan. It has a 426 Hemi with the correct intake and carbs, not repops. 727 Auto trans, 8.75 diff with 456 gears. Also has Superstock rear springs. It has stock Hemi cast iron exhaust manifolds. The interior is in great...
Well I guess the saying stands true. That it's only worth what someone will pay for it. I am sorry that you got such a low price for a car that sounded so nice.
Thanks for the input. I have never seen another one that has not been restored. It seems most of them have either interior, exterior restoration or both.
The interior is all OEM. The headliner, floor mat, door panles and dash pad are in great shape. It does not have the radio delete, heater delete, rear seat delete, the D21 shift indicator or front bucket seats.
It is all original paint and interior. It's not without some chips. When I have talked to some of the local Mopar guys and I say something about painting it they become very hostile toward me lol.
Thanks for the head info. This is what I remember of the engine and where it came from. Locally there was a 64 Ply Bel race car called Red Thunde and was campaigned with a big picture of a elephants head on the door . If I recall correctly. The engine was put in the that car in 66. So I think...
I have a no rust original paint and interior 65 Dodge Coronet post door. I've had it for around 30 years. It's got a 426 Hemi around 12.5:1 with the correct cross ram and carbs. Not repops. It has never been cut. It still has the original plates and rings.I'm the second owner and it had a 318...
I found a guy that repops them. He only builds a few a year. He has a fresh complete head to tail pipe tip system ready to go. If you need his number let me know. I'm not sure how to post pics here so I might be able to mail some if you want to see it.
I need original factory style headers. I have cast street Hemi exhaust manifolds on my car. I'm running it a 12.5:1 with the factory crossram and carbs. I have been running it with these manifolds for nearly 27 years. It has always bothered me. So now I'm on the hunt to see if anybody makes...
I know this an OLD thread LOL but thats what I have to do to our 65 Dodge Corornet Hemi car. Just baught a used set for the rear. We are second owners of the car and have had it for 27 years. I don't want to cut holes in the floor either. It does have the fronts in from the factory already. I do...
