I have a no rust original paint and interior 65 Dodge Coronet post door. I've had it for around 30 years. It's got a 426 Hemi around 12.5:1 with the correct cross ram and carbs. Not repops. It has never been cut. It still has the original plates and rings.I'm the second owner and it had a 318 originally. What I need to know is what is it worth? I know that the reaction of most people is great appreciation.

Awesome car badlogin... Although I think it's only worth 5k or so and I could take it off your hands for you if you're interested.....lol

Seriously tho, fantastic car. Love it

Is that a single master pot?
Without more pictures I will start $35k plus or minus.
If you decide to sell put me on your list.

That's a super nice car! Good luck with the sale and keep us posted on what you decide to do.
Matt

Could be worth more IF you have an original 1965 Hemi and 1965 Hemi heads.
I think the 65 year Heads are a rare head, speaking with Bob Mazolinni AND Dale Reed.

What transmission are you running?

Look into this aspect if you would please.
I'm not sure but I believe the "65" was a "Race Hemi"and the Heads are valuable.

I would appraise your car at $30K +

It is truly a very nice nostalgic car and a great represenetive of the A990 "Superstock" Era.

Thanks for the head info. This is what I remember of the engine and where it came from. Locally there was a 64 Ply Bel race car called Red Thunde and was campaigned with a big picture of a elephants head on the door . If I recall correctly. The engine was put in the that car in 66. So I think it's either a 65-66 block and heads intake and carbs. It been years since I looked into it.

Are you looking to sell the car?

Bring it to Van Nuys "Spring-Fling" April 5th and 6th.

It is all original paint and interior. It's not without some chips. When I have talked to some of the local Mopar guys and I say something about painting it they become very hostile toward me lol.

Sure is a nice car. Good luck with sale

Need to see the interior to really determine an accurate price. The super stock interior is pretty pricey and that will reflect on your asking price.

The interior is all OEM. The headliner, floor mat, door panles and dash pad are in great shape. It does not have the radio delete, heater delete, rear seat delete, the D21 shift indicator or front bucket seats.

Thanks for the input. I have never seen another one that has not been restored. It seems most of them have either interior, exterior restoration or both.

25K -28k for your car
I got this car with original A990 hood, light weight fenders and a 528 hemi for under 29k
Also mine had SS seats but no door panels. Paint on mine was near mint.

And BTW Belvederes bring more money than Coronets for some reason.
