Well it won't be the power steering pump.
Could be a number of other things though. First thing I'd check is the bolts holding the steering box itself are tight.
Also get someone to turn the wheel while you observe everything, coupler as mentioned, also pitman arm, tie rods etc.

Old thread revival, but here's the answer I got 40 years ago.
Links are the same lenght, but the end kink on 71 up (and E) changes toe out on turns.
Once you have lowered your car, or deviated from stock, I doubt it matters
1969 B-Body Disc/Drum Brake Master Cylinder, Distribution Valve, and 2 connecting brake lines. All New. Installed to check fit, but never used, and no brake fluid was run through the parts. Decided to go with aftermarket four-wheel disc system. $120
we went to take this out today.

we already removed the heater core part of the box with your help.
the new unit fits right up there easily without removing the ac sode of the box.
i just need to make an aluminum plate with 4 holes to go over the studs which...
If this is a highjack, moderators please delete. I cannot identify this distributor either. Any help would be appreciated. Shaft is the same length as a 440. It is the one with the white retard box. IBPI 3438351, which might not belong to this distributor, who knows?

I have a 1974 Roadrunner. Has around 61k miles and the power steering seems to be very loose or floats if you will. Any thoughts on issues. New Power steering pump, gear box, or just take it some place and have everything checked including all the ball joints, ect.?
Ok cool thanks guys. Looks weird with that big hole in the front. But glad nothing goes there. Any recommendations for the shifter hitting the torsion bar?
Got down to the Oakland, California Pick-N-Pull wrecking yard this morning to get some parts off a 1965 Dodge Dart, that they set out in one of their Chrysler Corp. row of cars a week ago.
Never been to that yard before, in all these years that i have been wrecking yarding.

Hey guys, had my charger on the lift installing the Trans today. I noticed the torsion bars have a boot on the back side of the Trans cross member but none on the front side of the Trans cross member. Is that correct? Or did someone install the bars without the bushings.
