Hey guys, had my charger on the lift installing the Trans today. I noticed the torsion bars have a boot on the back side of the Trans cross member but none on the front side of the Trans cross member. Is that correct? Or did someone install the bars without the bushings.
One other question, when I installed the shifter for the column shift, the nut for the column adjuster grazes the torsion bar. Anything I can do about that?

It's a 360 with a 904 Trans and column shift.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Torsion bars don't have bushings.

It is a dust cover and only installed on the rear.

Ok cool thanks guys. Looks weird with that big hole in the front. But glad nothing goes there. Any recommendations for the shifter hitting the torsion bar?
Not to sound like a dick but you need to start bending something to clear but it wont be the T bar.

All good. I think i actually found the issue bud. I pulled the z bar from a 74 satellite and the adjustable part is hitting. I found one from a charger and the adjustable bolt is facing toward the rear of the car as opposed to the passenger side, so by moving the adjustable part it now clears.
