I have had a similar problem but only when its full-full and has sat for a while. Non vented cap here but two large 1/2" "custom" vents coming out the top of the tank.
Can't figure it out. I have just made a point to fill it only to 7/8 of a tank.
Fit. Period.
The headers tuck up nice and tight. The tubes on the exhaust systems are bent perfectly for our cars. Like putting a Lego together.
Spend the extra $$. Well worth it.
Maybe you guys got the shitty end of the stick in the past from PUI. Pearl White, maybe because its an off color that Legendary told me 18 months out. Couldn't wait that long. They literally blamed COVID in 2023. Sounds like a management issue to me.
PUI took 3 months. Perfectly happy with mine...
Still blows me away how far behind Legendary is. Never used to be that way. Last time I spoke with them they were still blaming COVID.
Try PUI if you want it sooner. Made in USA, same quality.

Your diagram looks good from my house and far better than the crap I draw up. Sorry I can't help much but I'm sure the gurus on here will help you sort it out in no time.

Go with the 3/8ths. I used the 5/16ths because I read on here somewhere that the 3/8ths was too thick and the outer trim wouldn't fit correctly. Man was that a bad decision.
After a summer of shows in the hot sun with the 5/16ths has squished down and started pushing the interior trim away from...
