I have used them
and simply dont trust them
I bought an engine cradle that I can crank the balance and thus the angle of the engine as I need to
like this only Red
definitely not factory
so it was added later
Some of the vinyl tops were added by dealers
so it was possibly added by the dealer
but IMNSHO it's ugly
I am glad mine doesn't have one
I have been modifying this car since I bought it in 77
I wouldn't know what original is anymore
I do appreciate the level of work that goes into a platinum restoration
but it's just not for me
I did
but I have been modifying this car since 1976
I don't consider it a collector car
When you change as much on a car as I have,
it ceases to be collector car, it becomes a street car

If you are considering aluminum heads for your build or at anytime in the future
Remember not all of these Headers will work with angled plugs
The Doug's work fine with my Edelbrock RPM Heads (angled plugs) and I dont burn any boots
I do use a protective sleeve over the boots
I love my Edelbrock RPM heads but I am running the old .509 purple shaft
I don't need the flow at .600
Note that they were not perfect out of the box
I had them checked by my machine shop and they had some tight guides & need some clean up in the bowls
He also changed the valve springs out to...
I am using a Duracel Ultra 24m 800 cca (SLI24MHP)
Batteries Plus carries them for about $110
They carry a 27m as well but they have fewer CCA for some reason
Its a Marine Starting battery but they take a charge while the boat motor runs and are built for that
It is dual Post
I use the secondary...
