so if I'm reading this right...you've run larger wires / bypassed the bulkhead....and are still using the factory AMP gauge...and installed a voltmeter

I'm using a 78amp square back alternator, with an electronic regulator. I have also added a vintage AC system.

Did you add any fusible links to your wiring harness, if so where ? From what I see thier are none shown in my FSM.

In my 62 FSM wiring diagram I do not see any notice about fusible links. But I also looked at an online (mymopars.com) 65 FSM that showed 1 or 2 fusible links. So can anyone tell me if there are any fusible links in a 62 Fury wiring harness ?

and is the amp gauge still a weak point ? Or is it built better than units in newer models ?

I'm replacing the low 36-42 amp alternator on my 62 Plymouth with a factory square back 78 amp unit. What updating to the wiring harness should done. I will be using a stock mopar electronic VR. Also should I continue to use the 62 factory AMP gauge ? or bypass it ? I could use a wiring...

I live about 20 miles from Summit Racing in Ohio, hope I can pick it up there to avoid shipping cost. Did you get the tinted glass ? and did you buy the seal from summit ?

I've never install a windshield. Summit has clear or tinted and sell the gasket also. How hard is this to do ?? 1962 Plymouth Fury. Tinted or clear,.. what would you buy ??
