First off I am not affiliated with this company in any way, I was sent the link and I subsequently ordered some patch panels for my 68 Barracuda, however I noticed that they have some patch panels for 71-74 B bodies and thought someone might be interested here.
I am merely passing it on, if...
I want to install my headliner but I need to figure out where all of the screws and such are so that I can put all of the various items on after the headliner is installed. I have these 2 wedge shaped brackets that are spot welded to the car to which the retainers attach. I found what I thought...
I am assembling my 71 Charger and I need some pics of the inside of the car of specifically the rear window area and over the doors. I have these 2 plates and I am trying to determine where they go. I thought over the doors but they don't seem to fit there, someone suggested around the back...
Is anyone running a VA system in their 71 up B body? I am interested in how you did the control panel or perhaps better said what control panel did you use. I have one from VA but it is too tall and too narrow for the factory slot. I am not afraid to cut the bezel but I just cannot see how this...
Anyone have a solution for the map light switch, they don't seem to last as all of the ones I have seen on eBay are like mine, missing the arm. I am going to research some small toggle or maybe a push button switch but I thought I'd ask to see if someone else has found something that works.
I need some help from those of you who have functioning 71 Chargers with the base (non-RT) taillights. I need to know that the functions of the red lenses (one on either side of the backup light). Obviously they illuminate for parking/running, stop and turning but I need to understand which lens...
As the title says, I am looking for a picture of the bucket seat reinforcement plate location in a 71 B body (charger if it matters). I see USCT sells a kit but I am trying to work out where they would go.
Thanks
I recently disassembled my rear bumper in order to fix some issues and to clean it up. I noticed that on the right side 2 of the bulbs are basically rusted in place but then discovered that the metal receptacle/socket is not removable. I did some research (google search) and found some...
As the title says, I am looking for pictures of a 71 B body (Charger is what I am working on) with just the dash frame installed or even with just the brackets that go to the cowl and firewall. I am test fitting my dash frame so that I can mock up my steering column and it just doesn't sit in...
So it seems that the 71 Chargers had either cardboard sail panels or plastic ones, can anyone (@Nacho-RT74 ..) provide some clarity of what came with what?
Thanks in advance.
Does anyone have pictures of the plate that goes into the drivers side rear fender well to cover what I assume is part of the evap plumbing? I intend to make this plate or one to close the are off somewhat and would like to see what the original one looks like.
I pulled the parking brake out of my 71, soaked it in evaporust which did a great job, however during this I discovered that the return spring was broken. Does anyone have a source for a replacement?
Is anyone using the mid length pistol grip (71+ B body bench seat or buckets with buddy seat) in the rear (behind the torsion bar cross member) position?
Here is the situation, I am building a 71 Charger and the PO set the car up to take the forward mount shifter/PG because he was going to run...
I thought I'd throw this up and see what kind of information we can come up with.
I am currently contemplating stereo options for my 71 Charger, I am not looking for thumping base or an exceptionally loud system, rather I want good clean sound if possible.
As most of you know the pickings are...
I have NO stake in this at all but thought it might be of interest. Watch this video and look in the background, there is what appears to be an entire 71 Plymouth front clip sitting upside down on top of a van. This junk yard is located in Berniston (sp?) Mass.
I am thinking of using some aftermarket or "alternate" seats in my 71 Charger and wonder what others are using. I intend on using a buddy seat with whatever seats I decide to use. Lets see what you got.
Anyone know what this is out of? I'd ask everyone to look at the mounting system and the rod that runs from the ignition "key" down midway the column to a spot where I assume a switch would go (if you rotate the key the rod moves and it does not feel like there is a switch in there).
I purchased a 71 Charger project some months back and my intention is to make it a Super Bee clone visually, it will have a 5.7 Hemi and a 4 speed when done. I've owned a few Chargers over the years but I have never owned a Super Bee and I am at a point where my car/project buying/building is...
I am doing the planning to build my 71 Charger, it was an original AC car and thus I am looking to put it back in. I see that Vintage air doesn't offer a kit for a 71 but I am told that one for a 69/70 would work, anyone done this?
So I bought this 71 Charger and it comes with a bulge (rallye) hood which I am told is a 72 hood. I intend to put an air grabber on this car and I was told that the 72 is much harder to convert. I know AMD sells a hood and my hood is pretty nice so maybe I just need to sell mine and get a AMD.
