First time changing oil on 318 and headers are in the way of new oil filter. Any idea of what alternative oil filter can fit it?

The filters I mentioned, are about 4" height, as well as the Wix 51085. The K&N 2009 filters are about 5" height. ( the filter you pulled x-refs to the 51085 sizes )

Compare a oil filter for a Chrysler PT Cruiser Turbo. Short with a thinner body. Numbers like K&N SO-2009 Napa Gold 7356 STP S3600XL Many others. I have been using these on all of my Mopars for well over 20 years. The Turbo models have a thicker case Plenty room on my LA318 with headers. Damn if...

I think most of the drag race boxes use faceplated (dog ring) gears. I put them in my 23 spline 833, and they seem to have a back angle on them that is supposed to hold them in gear. My understanding is that clutchless transmissions aren't back cut. I do pull on my handle a little before hitting...

I have a line on a Good used 6.1 and I already have a 4spd auto trans set-up for a Gen 3 and Fuel Injection tank.. Just need money and motivation.. I want to turn my...

What's it Worth 69 Roadrunner - project car

Its in kind of a weird state. The stuff that is bad is pretty bad. Not crazy about the rockers, the frame rail had me concerned. I've been in there with a pick and the rest is solid. The pass side is solid. The floors have holes, but they aren't as bad as I'd expect them to be. I feel like...

I use a 1068 or 51068 WIX....same same as far as numbers go and that's without the angle adapter. Have to use that one on 1st gen Dakota but you might look up what a 1st gen Dakota is supposed to use because it's even smaller. I always use the largest one possible on my junk. The Dakota came...

Ballpark estimate for the cost to do a 5.7 Hemi swap in a '70 Charger

I've been and still am a bldg contractor and don't charge that much and I guess that's why I'm still working at 73! Might be time to raise my labor! Yes, and location has a lot to do with that. Fact is tho, our hobby aint cheap!
