I'm that I worded my question poorly. I'm looking to get the leftover crab from the alcohol out of the carburetors. I'm talking about a car and a generator. Is there any way to clean the gunk out without tear down?

Tell me more = I have a 383 motor and it runs bad. I has solid lifters so I check the valve adjustment and set at 28 intake 32 exhaust. I then took the spark plugs out and they were black and one looked like it was dropped because the gap was very small. The plugs I put in were RN 12 YC and...
Rick was excellent. I still miss the rag and his articles in it. Years ago there was another mag, I can’t recall the name but Tony Defoe wrote for it and I liked his stuff also. Before I got the wannabee I was into old style hot rods. 1001 Rod and Custom Ideas was good for that stuff.
