Well thanks to this post: Hiway Hifi?. I watched The World, the Flesh, and the Devil. I thought it was a sci fi but it was more about race, when it’s the 50s and there are 3 people left in the world and one of them is black it’s gonna come up. Not a bad watch.
I'm inclined to agree, I took it out twice, blasted cleaner thru it, saw it go thru, grabbed one bristle from a wire brush and saw it go in one end and out the other, into the common feed that the working squirter is fed from. The most I see from it is a dribble. Maybe next weekend I'll poke it...
Well this was educational. I've only opened one of these before and that was in like 1996. I wrongly assumed the pump should be pushed down by the arm, but it seems all it does is ease off so the spring can push it down. Now stretching the spring makes more sense.
I also see I should have two...
Last I looked it seemed fine, the nozzle is aim at just one barrel tho, seemed to me it should be aimed at the wall between barrels to splash at both but I left it alone.
I'll see if I can pop the top off it.
The only slop I noticed was from the pivot point, but I looked at some other pics and...
I did some tune up stuff today and noticed the accell pump seems to be delayed when I move the throttle, if I manually move it while giving it throttle the response is much better. You can see it in the short vid below, the delayed part is seen right at the beginning.
Is the pivot point supposed...
I barely use my phone for actual talking :p
Have you considered putting those command prompts into a BAT script? You could then schedule it to just run. I have a similar script on my work laptop except its just to kill a bunch of useless processes that hog resources, most of them from Adobe...
Also if you have a later model Samsung phone you may have Dex which basically connects your phone to your computer and you use a windows like environment on your laptop but the phone is doing the heavy lifting. I just connected to my phone and here is what it looks like. You can also connect...
Well I probably buy more often than most because I’m also in software and for example when windows 11 came out I wanted to try it so I bought the cheapest HP laptop for that.
Do you have a good HP or one of the cheap student ones? Those student ones seem to be terrible. I got to play with Win11...
I play with it, even sold cassette racks I printed on Etsy for awhile. Most recently I printed my dash panel in PLA to prototype it, planned to then have it printed in ABS but ended up using it as a template to cut up an ABS sheet. So it was indirectly used to create a part.
I was going to bring up go-karts too. Kids everywhere are set loose on those,I was one of them. I had some close calls but was lucky. I won’t throw shade at the parents who are going through hell now or call them silly things like narcissists.
Well some of these stories triggered a memory. Mid 90s I had an 81 Accord as my DD and my older brother had an "Automatic Stickshift" 1969 Bug and the starter was going out. Those were strange manuals with a torque converter that you could push start. So anyway I’m pushing him with the Accord...
If I got one of those and wasn’t sure how to wire it I would bench test with a spare coil, some wire and a battery. Also a way to know it at least fires before starting the installation.
