Check the rules in that class, and you will see the limitations. We took our Granddaughter to our acreage when she was coming 13 and had her practice to be prepared for Junior Street. She paid very close attention. Went to the track and was tested. Raced with a parent until she turned 16. She won JR. Street 2 out of 3 years. Ended up beating all of her peers that had been racing in Jr. Dragster 5 years before she raced.A Canuck with a different opinion...My 14-year-old daughter will be learning to drive next spring, that worries me a fair amount. But drag racing at HALF that age? That's a totally different risk ballpark. I would think if you're not permitted to drive until you're 14 (here in Canada anyway), why the hell are you allowed to drag race?
One reason they might be, it is a sanctioned track that is monitored/controlled by a body.
