So I discovered all the under dash wiring and switches for the cruise control unit seem to still to be present, so good news. My question now is why the cruise control unit that came with the car only has provision for one vacuum line when the diagram shows two lines and the brake cutoff switch...

My 62 Dart has 6 leaf, rear, springs, on both sides. -- It sits too high, and I would like to lower it 2", possibly a litt more. -- Any suggestions re removing leafs ? -- Tires are 235-60-15s -- Probably will change to larger.

When was the last time you checked the fluid levels? I would not normally pop the cover off my M/C and look unless I was experiencing a braking issue. Could it have been this way a long time? Refill it, bleed the brakes, and look for signs of a leak. Drive it. Some leaks won't occur unless...
