Everything I've read states the k frame is the same 63+ weather it's bb or sb but it is the internet so.... Mine was a small block and has a bb in it, I just got new rubbers as a new motor is going in and I didn't change the k frame

No they do not need to be in a pressurized environment, most tpms tools will read and it will just say 0psi. The tpms themselves have a battery that is non replaceable.
