    Alcohol in gas

Has it already turned to gunk in the carburetor? Has some time passed since it was last run, like 3-4 months or more? If it was recently running then run good gas through it by starting the engine with good gas going in the fuel line.

    FOR SALE Split bench seat

I don't know for certain what this seat came out of but I removed it from a 1972 Satellite. It needs new covers but is in really good condition, the torn foam you see is only the foam stitched into the cover to create the pleats, in the other pictures you can see the seat foam which is in great...

Engineers really don’t think about maintenance Spark plugs Hemi Ram….

I learned of a great old-school trick that sure helps installing spark plugs, and used it with the 5.7 Hemi in my '05 Magnum...cut a length of 3/8" fuel hose, maybe a foot long. Once you crack your plug loose, press the hose onto the end of the plug and spin the hose to remove the plug. Press...

    converter stall speed on 318LA

Spend a little more and get one custom built for your combo. It makes a huge difference in how the convertor is set up. If it's loose (like a hughes) I would run a max stall of 2500. If it's custom built tight.. perhaps 3500. You can do better then Hughes, PTC may even be cheaper the hughes.

Need a new welding helmet - what`s decent?

I have had 5 or 6 over the last 30+ Years. All the cheapie type. Never any issues with comfort or usage. I did have one that when I flipped up after running a bead that fell off the back of my head and landed on the ground. After I picked it up and put it back on to run another bead I noticed...

Curious as to how many 73 GTX sunroof cars are known?

And a model name change, '72 through '74, There was no "GTX option" or package, its an engine option, if you ordered a 440 (E86), it triggered a model rename from Road Runner to Road Runner GTX included the additional badging.
