I agree, the coil on plug system is efficient but ugly. The plastic intake manifolds are ugly too. I love the look of a 426 Hemi though despite them being as big and heavy as my ex wife.

I bought the engine almost a year and a half ago. As time passes, I often forget about the money that I spent or lost on something. Because of that, I'll admit that it is tempting to just buy new.

One thing that I have noticed is that to get decent power, the 3G Hemi can still sound pretty tame. An old school engine has noticeable lope to it. I like the lope, even if the engine isn't as powerful. For me, the feel, sound and smell is more important than overall performance. I'm not racing...

C body pedal side pushrod is different... It can be swapped when the booster is rebuilt...

I need almost 4 gallons of oil to cover the turkey........... they sell 3 gallon buckets, does the oil "grow" when its hot? or does the "rolling" boiling oil cover the turkey anyway? can I add a little vegetable oil to make the difference if necessary?

No worry at all.. i would seam seal around the edges and hit it with satin black...
