I watched the season opener tonight. . End of last season they really hyped things up . Two hours show ...so boring I fell asleep a few times. I would stop watching, but the digging up really old wood cant be staged..................................MO
I just found that I had a message from KIWIGTX . Good of him to inquire if I was OK . I haven't been on this forum for a few months
I am OK, just premature old age ! I did put up some photos a few months ago , of my 1968 Plymouth Sport Satellite , after I got it finished. We drive it a...
Regarding the tail light chrome bezel difference. Altho they are interchangeable the Road Runner- Satellite have a black insert around the back up light. The GTX- Sport Satellite does not have that and I think just a little different shape to match the trunk finish panel . Did anyone...
Thanks Rick, you are spot on with that location . I added a little more metallic and a bit of Mica to the color mix . In bright sun light it looks a little like B5 and in shade a little darker. Under flouresent light it looks darker with a hint of green !
This is what started out as a 1968 Plymouth Sport Satellite. I show it in the modified class, because it is. The only thing on it that says Sport Satellite is the emblem on the dash . Modified with other Mopar parts. I have fun with people who figure out what I have done. Based on the 1968...
With the green bearings , you don't have to adjust your side clearance. Not all that hard to do that wrong. You can get rid of the right side adjuster, and since they are sealed, they never have to be grease packed. Packing a bearing with grease with the bearing pressed on the axle, is a...
Good to see you, been a long time. I had them on my 64 Dodge, Didn't keep the car long, to fast for a old geezer!. With my low vision, just considering green again easy installation .............MO
I have been out of the loop for a while. Have they been holding up in non competition driving after many miles ? Has the factory improved them any since the past 5-6 years? IIRC the last ones I got , had thicker retainer plates and an improved bearing ? .....................................MO
My friend is still interested in buying a 68 GTX. . Doesn't care if it is a coupe or Convertible. Requirements: good dependable driving condition, minor repairs might be OK. Must be QQ1 Electric Blue in color. Interior color not important. Auto trans would be a plus. Not interested in a...
I would appreciate that. The 68 Sport Satellite shown in my avatar is now the one year only color, Electric Blue. From the outside, it looks just like the new 1968 Roadrunner we ordered in 1968. Right down to the Keystone wheels. I don't try to pass it off as a Road Runner...
That would be pretty much perfect for him. Install a white vinyl top and spot on , especially if blue interior. He did say he would consider a black or white interior. Thanks for the reply.........................MO
A friend recently contacted me , interested in buying a 1968 GTX 440 , 727 transmission. Needs to be in good driving condition, minor flaws would be OK. Blue with blue interior would be a plus. Any leads? Thanks............................MO
Looking for a most affective spray on degreaser for caked on grease that doesn't harm wiring or aluminum. Some kinds of oven cleaner is too harsh. Scraping off grease first would be a problem. What have you used that you like? Thanks for a reply. .........................MO
