My Son in law got scammed on F.B. with a hood he purchased. He paid and the hood never arrived. He tried everything to get a reply or refund. F.B. even basically said tough luck.
I have been thinking about doing this to my cars for years due to how much I drive a couple of them. You guys are talking me into it more and more.
After hours of driving they do get extremely hot inside off of the exhaust over time on 90+ degree summer days especially.
Keep it, cover it and forget about for awhile. It's bought and paid for. Let it sit, save some money and wait until you are ready to tackle it again later on. It took me over 15 years to build my E Body. They are almost never done anyway.
Crazy what these 70 fenders bring these days. AMD should see they are indeed in demand. I have five 70 fenders currently waiting for there day on another project car.
I have had 5 or 6 over the last 30+ Years. All the cheapie type. Never any issues with comfort or usage.
I did have one that when I flipped up after running a bead that fell off the back of my head and landed on the ground.

R.I.P. My buddy has Ron's original lime green 70 six pack V code Cuda drag car that was converted to look like a 71, then a 72/73/74 in the Super Stock/Pro Stock days and still has the yellow with orange stripes paint scheme today.
My freezer portion is for freezing the nitrous bottles when refilling them. The fridge usually has water, pop, beer of whatever choosing someone may bring over. Oh, it is the old 70's (1970 model, to match the cars) gold item to the left of the tool boxes covered in racing decals.
They are all just used cores until sonic checked. Once sonic checked good. Then it's a good builder. I have seen many blocks go totally against everyone's so called theories and/or rumors of what is better or not.
I still want B5, but this blue has grown on me after 12 years. Has been an awesome car. Haven't changed anything but the oil, filters and just did the front pads and front tires.
Awesome. Now tell the robot to start reproducing all of our classic musclecars sheet metal so we can get away from all of this China metal we have to use now that requires modifications almost everywhere.
