The rattle is built in...I jest , of course but , after changing just about everything in the rear end ( SS shocks/springs , snubber , hangers ) it still has the ever-present rattle...I just live with it...good luck with your project...

Good idea to pick up ' The Mopar Six Pack Engine Handbook ' . Lot of info and improvements . The six pack is a thing of beauty...if it's running/set up right . Dedicate yourself to it or do yourself the favor and go with a single plane/double pumper combo as it will be a lot easier to keep in...

It was from the Mopar Performance electronic ignition conversion kit I bought from Mancini...pretty close to 20 years ago...I can't blame anybody but myself as explained in my first post...

Just to put some closure on this subject...I did have the yellow wire hooked up wrong...after checking piece by piece it all came down to a bad ECU ( orange ) . Car runs great now , thanks to youz guyz...:notworthy:

Never had a problem grounding to the frame , just make sure it's metal to metal...and don't cheap out on the grounding strap .

I'm just throwing this out there in case it helps someone out . I've had this issue for about a year , being too stubborn to seek competent help . My car would turn over and I found spark all the way to the coil but not to the distributor . I replaced pretty much everything in the ignition...
